Remote Controlled Spider

Simple but effective

Build This 1 foot Remote Controlled Spider that darts around like lightning, have him hide on Halloween and then dart out, oh boy you will see the candy fly!

Materials :

1 - Remote controlled car ( The cheapest one you can find, $30.00 should do it )

Rubber Foam ( The type they use for packing or you can get some scraps from an upholstery shop )

Some fur material ( Any fabric store should have this )

3M spray Adhesive

 

These instructions are not as detailed as our Giant 3 foot Spider and 6 foot Web. The Spider mentioned here is a simple but effective Prop for scaring the most obnoxious Trick or Treater.

 

Instructions :

Step 1 - Cut the Foam with a utility knife and shape it in the form of a Spider.

Step 2 - Spray some 3m Spray Adhesive on the fur Material and the Foam and start applying the fur on the Foam Spider.

Step 3 - Remove the body from the remote controlled car.

Step 4 - Cut a groove in the bottom of the Foam Spider so that the mechanics of the remote controlled car fits into the Foam Spider. Then glue the spider to the car.

Step 5 - Make some eyes and put them on the Spider and if you like, detail the Spider with some spray paint to give it some Spider markings and your done.
